Our capabilities
Epicentre brings together diverse and complementary skills covering all aspects required to carry out an epidemiological project or clinical study. This foundation is built on a team of qualified professionals capable of meeting the growing demands of epidemiology, data science, medical and clinical research, and social sciences, while remaining at the forefront of scientific and regulatory developments. Managing complex projects, such as cluster-randomized clinical trials, non-inferiority trials, or longitudinal studies, requires an even higher level of expertise. These projects, which are often multi-site and span several years, demand meticulous and rigorous coordination.
Epidemiology lies at the heart of Epicentre’s expertise. It draws on a range of disciplines, outlined below, the combination of which enables the production of robust data to support medical practice and public health.
- Epidemiology (field and medical)
- Clinical Research and Interventional Trials
- Biostatistics and data analysis
- Data management
- Mathematical and predictive modeling
- Monitoring, quality assurance, and pharmacovigilance
- Medicine and Nursing
- Community Engagement
- Humanities and Social Sciences
- Biology and Laboratory Testing
Thanks to this diverse range of expertise, Epicentre’s teams support MSF and its partners at every stage of a project, from its scientific design and implementation through to the analysis and dissemination of results.
