Abou Aissata Soumah

Abou Aïssata Soumah is a medical doctor and public health epidemiologist with over 10 years of experience in field epidemiology and outbreak response across Africa. He holds master’s degrees in Public Health (Aix-Marseille University) and Epidemiology (École Pasteur-CNAM, Paris). He has worked with Epicentre/MSF since 2021, leading data-driven responses to cholera, measles, and other health crises in DRC, Chad, and South Sudan. His expertise includes epidemiological surveillance, statistical analysis (R, STATA), vaccination strategy evaluation, and operational research in humanitarian contexts.
