Biography
Birgit Nikolay is an Epidemiologist working at Epicentre since 2019. She holds a PhD in Molecular Biology and a MSc degree in Control of Infectious Diseases. Since joining Epicentre, Birgit has provided epidemiological support to MSF interventions during the measles and CoViD19 epidemics in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Birgit's research focuses on how to improve strategies to prevent and respond to measles epidemics in resource-limited settings.
