Emily Lynch has worked as an epidemiologist with Epicentre since 2014, after joining MSF in 2011. She has worked in the field of global health since 2007 with multiple international NGOs, supervising medical research, responding to conflict and natural disaster and supporting outbreak management. With Epicentre she has overseen epidemiological research on cholera, Ebola, malaria, measles, meningitis, Hepatitis C, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), neonatal and early childhood risk factors for mortality and neurodevelopment, and mental health program implementation.
