Biography
Laura Cooper is an epidemiologist with expertise in statistical and mathematical modelling of vaccine-preventable infectious diseases, particularly polio and meningitis. She holds a PhD in Epidemiology from the University of Cambridge. Since joining Epicentre in 2024, she has worked on research projects focused on Lassa fever epidemiology and treatment, as well as the evaluation of vaccination impact on bacterial meningitis.
