Etienne Gignoux joined MSF in 2001 as a water, hygiene and sanitation specialist. He later became an epidemiologist and joined Epicentre in 2013. He is based in Geneva where he provides epidemiological support to MSF operations. He works in particular on epidemics (cholera, Ebola, measles, malaria, hepatitis E, etc.) and on population displacements.
