Alain Alsalhani

Alain is an industrial pharmacist by training and holds masters degrees in pharmaceutical regulation and in public health. Before joining MSF he worked in the pharmaceutical industry, including with Sanofi Pasteur. With MSF, Alain worked as a project pharmacist in places like Haiti and Turkey he then spent 2 years in India sourcing medical supplies for MSF local and global operations. In 2015, Alain joined the MSF Access Campaign as vaccines and special projects pharmacist. His areas of interest and work include: vaccines technology transfer and manufacturing in LMICs, regulatory systems strengthening and quality of generic medicines. Alain grew up in Damascus, Syria before travelling to France for his pharmacy studies.
