Biography
Dr. Iza Ciglenecki is a coordinator of operational research activities at Médecins Sans Frontières, Operational center Geneva. She studied medicine in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and did additional training in tropical medicine and epidemiology at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine. She has been working with MSF for over 20 years, in different roles as clinician, program manager or technical advisor. Her interest is disease control, with focus on improvement of patient care and use of vaccines as part of control strategies.
