Maria Lightowler is a doctor specializing in internal medicine with a master's degree in infectious diseases and epidemiology. Since 2004, she has worked as a physician and medical coordinator in the MSF field. Since 2018, she has been working at Epicentre as an epidemiologist for epidemic response as well as in operational research on infectious diseases, such as typhoid fever and tuberculosis.
