Rami is an accomplished Epidemiologist at Epicentre since 2017, with his expertise rooted in conflict settings of the Middle East. He has led a spectrum of observational studies and cohort studies, shedding light on the epidemiology of war-wound related infections and antibiotic resistance. His work has been focused on strengthening surveillance of infectious disease outbreaks, including measles, cholera, and COVID-19. He works closely with operational desks to shape research priorities, ensuring they align with field realities. He also provides critical epidemiological guidance to field teams, enhancing their capacity for effective public health responses.
