Biography
Valentina, a biologist by training, obtained a master's degree in public health at the Institut Pasteur-CNAM in Paris. She joined Epicentre in 2015, where she first worked in Kenya as a study coordinator and then in Paris. Before joining Epicentre, Valentina collaborated with DNDi (Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative) on a sleeping sickness clinical trial in DRC and CAR. She has also worked in several African countries as a biologist. Her research interests include HIV and viral hepatitis.
