Yves Amevoin

Yves Amevoin holds an engineering degree in statistics and a postgraduate diploma in mathematical statistics. With a background in data science, Yves has been a key member of Epicentre's data science team since 2019. In his current role, he leverages his expertise to develop and implement innovative tools to improve data collection, management and data sharing during epidemics. His job is to ensure that data is accessible and actionable to facilitate more effective responses to public health emergencies. Before joining Epicentre, he worked as a statistician at the Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) office in Dakar, contributing to the development of surveillance tools.
