Guillermo Zohar MARTINEZ PEREZ, PhD Health Sciences, has engaged in socio-epidemiological research in low-income countries since 2009. They had their first mission with MSF in 2012 and have arrived in Epicentre in 2024. After several years studying female genital cutting and other traditional gendered harmful practices in sub-Saharan Africa, they became more involved in the conduct of mixed-methods, key populations-sensitive research on conditions such as COVID-19, HIV/STI, Hepatitis C or Tuberculosis.
