The Lancet Global Health in support of francophone scientists

The Lancet Global Health published an original French article for this first time on 15 April 2019. The article (‘Plaidoyer contre l’exclusion des francophones dans la recherche en santé mondiale’) is co-authored by Yap Boum, Epicentre’s Africa representative based in Cameroun.

Following discussion of the subject at the Africa Health Agenda International Conference (AHAIC) held in Kigali, Rwanda between 5-7 March, the article outlines the difficulties faced by francophone researchers, as well as other non-anglophones, in publishing their work, sharing and accessing knowledge.
