Every three minutes, a child succumbs to tuberculosis (TB), a curable disease if diagnosed in time. Can the new treatment decision algorithms, one of the new WHO (World Health Organization) recommendations, improve the diagnosis of TB in children? Should they be adapted to different contexts? How easy are they to implement? How well are they accepted by health workers?
